Stop the press, this is the best Alice Coltrane footage I’ve ever seen. First time I’ve seen her being interviewed on camera, and it’s pretty damn heavy, and then intense close-up footage of her playing the harp at home, and finally a couple minutes of a live show featuring Pharoah Sanders and Rashied Ali and band blasting off in front of a community center audience… Alice’s face says a lot, she’s feeling this nasty cosmic funk, when the band is boiling and roiling…
